We are looking for a communicator to strengthen young men's mental health

UMO.se is a site with editorial content about sex, health, relationships, mental health, as well as alcohol and drugs. We are passionate about empowering young people aged 13 to 25 through relevant and reliable content. To reach our target audience, we actively and strategically work with social media. Right now, we are focusing on TikTok, but we continuously develop our presence on other social platforms to spread UMO's brand and convey knowledge about our topics.

UMO is run by Inera AB, a digitalization company that contributes to the development of welfare. Inera offers various digital services for regions and municipalities, including the website 1177.se. We are Sweden's digital gateway to health, care, and social services, and we develop digital infrastructure for a cohesive welfare system. Our vision is to create the world's most innovative and caring welfare.

UMO is part of the 1177 citizen editorial section, which includes a total of 23 employees working with UMO and 1177. You will be part of an engaged team with diverse skills in areas such as social media, language, image, film, web development, web analytics, and medical expertise.

We are looking for someone who wants to contribute to strengthening young men's mental health

UMO has received funding to increase young people's knowledge and ability to influence their mental health - and now we are looking for someone who wants to be part of this important work. In this role, you will communicate about mental health and UMO's other topics in an engaging way on social media, focusing on TikTok. You will also produce articles and editorial content for UMO.se and participate in external meetings and conferences. We are looking for someone who feels equally comfortable in front of and behind the camera and who has a special understanding of the target group of young men.

Your responsibilities will include:

Creating, quality assuring, publishing, and following up on video and text-based content on social media and websites.
Monitoring and analyzing user behavior to work strategically and tailored to the target audience.
Collaborating with experts, regions, authorities, public actors, and organizations from civil society.
Representing Inera and UMO externally in meetings with clients and partners.

Is this you?

We are looking for someone with a relevant education in communication and a few years of experience as an editor, web editor, or reporter. You have skills in film and text production and social media.

It is an advantage if you have:

Experience in communication with the target group of young people, preferably focusing on boys.
Knowledge or experience working with UMO's topics, such as mental health, sex, the body, and relationships.
Skills in search engine optimization, web analytics, marketing, plain language, and working with quality-assured content.
